Director and screenwriter. Degree in Audiovisual Communication with a master’s degree in Scriptwriting and specialist in Cinematography and new audiovisual media. Since 2007, she has been combining her work in cinema with TV series directing. Her debut feature film, La Distancia Más Larga, was nominated for Goya for Best Ibero-American Film and won 17 international awards, including the Platinum Award for Best Debut Film, Best Film in Latin America at the Festival Des Films Du Monde in Montreal and Best Director at the Cleveland International Film Festival. In 2021 she premiered her second feature film, Las consecuencias, with which she participated in the San Sebastián Co-Production Forum and won the Eurimages Award. Starring Juana Acosta, Alfredo Castro and Carme Elías, it was produced by Els Vandevorts, nominated for the Oscar 2021 and responsible for titles such as Dancing in the Dark and Dogville, by Lars Von Trier.
