Biografie
Gaeun Yoon studied history at Sogang University and continued her graduate studies in film at the School of Film, TV & Multimedia at Korea National University of Arts. After her debut short film, The Taste of Salvia, she wrote and directed Guest and Sprout, awarded with the Crystal Bear for Best Film in the Generation Kplus Competition at the Berlin International Film Festival 2014. Her second feature, The House of Us, was invited to several festivals, including the BFI London Film Festival 2019.
