Not everyone receives an invitation from the famous Japanese animation studio Ghibli to make a film. Michael Dudok de Wit, known from his Oscar-winning animated short Father and Daughter, did. This portrait follows him during this complex creative venture. He is a perfectionist used to making his animation films single-handedly.
