Englisch The filmmakers managed to film this cutely humane story about a great, undying friendship with taste, humor and insight. Fabrice Luchini and Patrick Bruel are really well suited to the roles of two long-time friends. The chemistry between them here seems almost palpable. (70%) ()

Englisch A sad dramedy that is hardly funny at all and is unfortunately quite boring. I liked the concept, where one of the friends is diagnosed with cancer and due to a misunderstanding, the sick one thinks that his friend is sick. It’s quite cool, but the French avoid comedic situations and rather rely on the story and characters, which I'm not a big fan of. It's obvious that I'm not the target audience, the movie would rather entertain my parents and maybe even grandparents. But I don't want to give it two stars, because even though I didn't enjoy it too much, I have to admit that it has its qualities. The story, the performances and the visuals are all fine and I was even surprised by an interesting twist. A film about strong friendship and illness, so anyone who likes similar movies can go for it. I'm running away now. Englisch Oh, no. This is a comedy only by description and a few very inept attempts at humor. Two friends’ journey lacks zest and insight, and is rather tedious. And even the food for thought offered by the theme is just desolately superficial. ()
