Die langjährigen Freunde Eddy, Tom, Bacon und Soap bringen gemeinsam 100.000 Pfund auf, damit Poker-Genie Eddy bei einem Kartenturnier gegen den einflussreichen Londoner Unterweltboss Harry Lonsdale antreten kann. Doch die Partie wird von dem Gangster manipuliert, am Ende hat das junge Spieler-Ass eine halbe Million Pfund Schulden, die innerhalb von einer Woche zurückgezahlt werden müssen - anderenfalls drohen dem befreundeten Quartett schlagkräftige Konsequenzen. Durch Zufall erfahren sie, dass in ihrer Nachbarschaft der Überfall auf eine illegale Marihuana-Plantage bevorsteht, und schmieden einen Plan: Sie wollen die Gras-Räuber selbst berauben und so an den notwendigen Zaster gelangen, um sich bei Harry freizukaufen.
