To write a detective story about a case that has not yet happened in reality is simply a demonstration of mastery. Especially when such a detective story actually works. Agatha entrusted it to the brilliant Poirot - who else - and this story was excellently brought to the screen. A beautiful example of how it is possible to make a detective story without any murders.
