Nach dem Mord an ihrem Mann ist Sarah auf sich allein gestellt. Die Polizei, das Jugendamt und sogar ihre eigene Mutter lassen kein gutes Haar an ihr. Im Supermarkt wird sie von fremden Männern belästigt. Mit zwei Kindern, um die sie sich kümmern muss, wenig Geld und ohne Unterstützung von außen bleibt der jungen Mutter kaum Zeit für sich selbst. Als der in Bedrängnis geratene Drogendealer Tito sich eines Tages ausgerechnet ihre Sozialwohnung als Versteck für sein Diebesgut aussucht, platzt Sarah schließlich der Kragen. Um sich und ihre Kinder zu schützen, greift sie zu drastischen Mitteln – und entdeckt dabei, wozu sie fähig sein kann. (Capelight Pictures)

A solid social thriller from the UK! A sad story of a young widow with two children who has a hard time in life. She doesn't have much money, she doesn't have a job, no one is investigating her husband's murder, and on top of that a man breaks into her flat with a bundle of drugs he stole from a local boss. Sarah Bolger's performance is great, I empathized with her a lot, and in some scenes she shows she has "balls". It's a smaller film, but I enjoyed it and there is one chop saw. Story***, Action**, Humor>No, Violence***, Entertainment****, Music***, Visuals***, Atmosphere****, Suspense***. 6.5/10.
