Harper und Abby leben als glückliches Paar in Pittsburgh. Abby hat keine Ahnung, dass sich Harper gegenüber ihrer Familie nicht geoutet hat. Erst als sie mit ihr zur Weihnachtsfeier in Harpers entferntes Heimatsstädtchen mitkommt, erfährt sie, dass ihre Beziehung geheim bleiben soll.
