CHECKMATE was an early '60s detective show based around a San Francisco agency that specialized in solving crimes before they happened. Don Corey (Anthony George), Jed Sills (Doug McClure), and Dr. Carl Hyatt (Sebastian Cabot) are the three men who attempt to crack some tough cases. (Verleiher-Text)
