Chicken soup machine repairman and intergalactic loser Dave Lister awakes from suspended animation to discover he is the lone survivor of a radiation leak and is now three million years into deep space and the last surviving member of the human race. Dave is soon joined by a hologram of his dead bunkmate, a life-form who's evolved from his pet cat, and a neurotic sanitation mechanoid. Together this unlikely bunch of heroes attempt to find their way back to Earth, under the guidance of Holly, the ship's senile computer, encountering a whole heap of smeg on the way. Nutzerkritik Malarkey zur diesen Serie (2)

Season 10 (2012) (S10) 

Englisch The initial excitement from this season was obvious. Even despite the fact that the first time I have watched the subtitled version, which was quite a shock for me. Then, I left this season to mature for four years, only so that I could get back to it and get excited about the 11th and 12th seasons, which will be here in no time. By the way, this time, I enjoyed it with dubbing. At that moment I realized that the dubbing really added a lot to it. Especially the magic of the past, which made me feel sixteen again, getting familiar with Red Dwarf for the first time from my couch. And even despite the fact that this season has a lot of weaker spots, where they are only talking, there are still episodes like Lemons and The Beginning, the first of which is the best Red Dwarf has ever offered, and the second one, for a change, showcases that this series definitely doesn’t belong to a graveyard. The remaining episodes are fillers, but they still managed to please me. ()

The Promised Land (2020) (S13E01) 

Deutsch Die Vorfreude war groß. Das Ergebnis? Widersprüchlich. Ich habe nicht genau verstanden, warum sich alle aus der Crew von The Promised Land in den Dialogen wiederholten und an etwas erinnerten, was eigentlich alle Fans bereits kennen und wissen. Trotzdem war es aber die alte gute Klicke mit einer Katzenidee zusätzlich. Ehrlich gesagt, es ist an der Zeit, dass die tschechische Version mit allen ursprünglichen Schauspielern kommt. Ich bin mir sicher, dass dann die Begeisterung viel größer sein wird. ()
