The Green Hornet

I thought that I would rate the series quite negatively, but when compared to other series from that time (e.g. "Batman"), "The Green Hornet" still comes out as the winner. What is the reason for this? Well, there are several factors, but let's go through them step by step. First, let's talk about how the series was actually created. Even though it may seem so, "The Green Hornet" was not originally a comic book hero, but a radio hero, who appeared on the airwaves continuously from 1936 to 1950, although on various stations, and then returned in 1952. No new radio episodes were recorded. However, a television series called "The Green Hornet" was already created in 1940, along with its sequel "The Green Hornet Strikes Again!" (also 1940). But the most successful one was the series from 1966, which I want to focus on today. Meanwhile, comics about this hero were certainly being created, and in 2011, we even got a film adaptation called "Green Hornet", which was also shown in Czech cinemas and where I first met him.
