Maxime und Mélanie sind 15, verliebt und machen erste gemeinsame Erfahrungen. Als Mélanie merkt, dass sie schwanger ist, sind beide verunsichert. Schon bald kann sich Maxime aber vorstellen, Vater zu werden - obwohl er eine vielversprechende Karriere als Fussball-Torwart vor sich hat. Schliesslich entscheiden die zwei, das Kind zu behalten. Während Maximes Eltern ihn unterstützen, möchte Mélanies Mutter ihre Tochter davor bewahren, so jung ein Kind zu bekommen... (Film Kino Text)

I have been thinking all along that these kids are actually to blame for all their troubles. They are fifteen and trying to have a relationship. The relationship is forced because Mélanie is pregnant but very determined to make it happen. What did they expect? I wasn’t rooting for them and I didn’t think the film has any kind of message at all. Their decision was simply reckless and it destroyed few human lives who may have had hope, but preferred to give it up because they were bored with their youth and thought that being adult is cool. It is not, trust me! Life flies by so fast and suddenly you are retired and glad that you made it so far.
