Mall Cops: Mall of America

Following the success of the pilot earlier this year on TLC, September is in production on a new 12x30' series will uncover the secrets of America's largest mall, as seen through the eyes of the men and women assigned to guard its stores and shoppers: the mall cops. From handling celebrity appearances, incoming tornadoes, weddings in the mall, escorting giant turtles, medical emergencies, crying children, missing persons and difficult employees, there is no job too big for the mall cops.
The Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, comprises over 500 stores, a 7-acre indoor theme park, a 1.2 million gallon aquarium, a secondary school, a wedding chapel and huge star events. With 40 million visitors a year, the Mall of America is a mini city – and needs to be protected as one. (Verleiher-Text)
