Englisch Too bad for the kind of ineptly shot, though very important introduction for the plot from space that was supposed to convince me that (and why) Lucy wants to go back as soon as possible. It didn't convince me much, and Natalie Portman was able to convince me only on Earth as I watched her unrelenting training, her dreamy looks at the sky, how she feels at home and how she feels at NASA... A great acting performance supported by an interesting and thankfully non-disruptive alternation of image format, and also beautiful music. That's how I wished Proxima would have impressed me with Eva Green. ()

Englisch Rather than a space sci-fi, this is a female astronaut’s intimate psychological drama, and as such it works quite well. Not to mention that Natalie Portman plays Lucy Cole very convincingly indeed. However, the movie could have been shorter for my taste. The story is so voluminous that it merits a movie with a playing time of over two hours. (60%) ()

Englisch The Hollywood has screenwriters that are able to create a perfect story but it also has screenwriters who wouldn’t be able to break through, not even in Belize. Lucy in the Sky has the same boring premise as Away produced by Netflix. At the same time both of those are about a journey to Space, which should be interesting in itself. ()
