Der erfolglose Videospielentwickler Miles landet zufällig auf der Seite von „Skizm“, einem im Darknet live übertragenen Actionspiel, bei dem die Teilnehmer zu tödlichen Deathmatches antreten. Miles wird zum unfreiwilligen Mitspieler von „Skizm“, bekommt eine automatische Waffe in jede Hand geschraubt und muss gegen die unbesiegbare Kampfmaschine Nix antreten. Doch statt zu kämpfen, tritt Miles lieber die Flucht an. Erst als seine Ex-Freundin Nova entführt wird, ist Miles gezwungen, sich dem Kampf auf Leben und Tod zu stellen. (Leonine)
