Als die hübsche Kommilitonin Klara ihn um Hilfe bei einem Projekt bittet, wagt er sich langsam aus der sozialen Isolation und entwickelt Zuneigung zu ihr. Doch seine Gefühle werden nicht erwidert und Piet greift zu Schlaftabletten, um die Zurückweisung zu vergessen. Durch Zufall betäubt er damit jedoch nicht nur seinen eigenen Kummer, sondern auch Klara - und der Abend nimmt seinen Lauf. Ein Abend, der Piet in vielerlei Hinsicht an seine Grenzen treiben wird. An entertaining festival-fodder thriller from Germany. The story focuses on a man computer programmer geek, meaning he has no friends and no experience with women. Everything changes when beautiful Klara comes to him asking for cooperation on a computer project. Klara is kind to him, sympathizes with him, and the protagonist slowly succumbs to her charms. I don't want to reveal more. It's a slow burn, but it doesn't get boring. Thanks to the interesting characters, the film manages to hold the audience's attention. There is also a bit of gore (detailed butchery), a bit of black humor, and the psychology of the main characters definitely stands out. For a intimate thriller, it's surprisingly good, and I think it is worth attention. 6/10.
