Englisch Rastafarian Jamaicans high on crack deal drugs, draw strange pictures on walls, perform weird voodoo rituals, and go after Steven Seagal. The classic feeling of a stylish action B-movie from the early 1990s is felt at every turn. However, the dull plot, spun from the same repetitive wheel with an incredible urge to "squeeze in something more" (in this case, mysterious voodoo rituals), is not even slightly amusing. The tedious sequence of mostly cliché episodes, meant to create a cohesive plot, lacks better directorial drive, and the film fails to rise above unbearable boredom even with the charismatic Seagal, whose aikido skills are excellent, but here inexplicably make way for mindless shooting. In addition, the forcefully inserted car chase is the epitome of tastelessness in this film, just like the properly awkward ending in Jamaica and the rushed finale. Is it possible someone happened to actually smoke crack during the filming? ()

Englisch I distinctly remember that after the first viewing, around seven or eight years old, I wanted to watch this movie all the time. However, the next screening, after a few years break, turned out terribly. If I had to rate it based on the last viewing, I would end up with garbage, but due to nostalgia, just like this. This boring and strangely action-packed film no longer deserves more. ()

Englisch A routine and unimpressive Steven Seagal movie this time slightly extravagant stoned Jamaicans. The main villain is laughable, Seagal traditionally delivers kicks and breaks arms (sometimes his opponents are, however, quite pitiful), and the whole thing has a typically B-movie touch and a tendency to the viewer for an idiot. But aikido looks beautiful – a truly raw martial art – and Steven is still the tough guy with a huge dose of charisma and principles, so why not... ()
