Marcos is a quiet and withdrawn forest ranger at a national park. His peaceful solitude is invaded by two biologists who come to study the mysterious deaths of a number of birds in the area. As time passes the interactions between the ranger and the scientists grow strained. The desire and envy for normality represented by the couple awaken a darker side of Marcos' personality that comes to the fore. (Warsaw Film Festival)

Ein leicht geheimnisvolles, nicht gerade interessantes Drama, das vorsichtig die Charaktere der Umweltschützer im kolumbianischen Nationalpark anhand der Massentode von Tieren zeigt. Bei der schockierenden Kammerszene am Ende werden alle existenziellen Gedanken verbunden und betont. Der Film bekommt eine starke gedankliche Dimension. [Sitges FF]
