Vana tsovi arshaluys

80-year-old Garabed, a child of the Armenian genocide survivor, tries to preserve the memory of the lost homeland in his Americanized offsprings. His son Dikran rebels against his father's attempts to bring his family back to the roots, and his 17-yearold grandson is in love with a female classmate of Turkish origin. Garabed's stubborn and uncompromising character brings about alienation in the family. (Moscow International Film Festival)
