Sir Stanley Matthews is considered by many to be the greatest soccer player who ever lived. Living in South Africa during Aparthied, Matthews became an activist for human rights during his later years. In 1975, as an opposition to strict apartheid rules, Matthews formed an all-black boys team in Soweto called "Stan's Men". During a time highlighted by harsh segregation, Matthews used his status as a global star to defy the rules in favor of humanity. (Newport Beach International Film Festival)
