Bon Cop Bad Cop 2

I didn't think the sequel would be very interesting, but it proved that if you have good characters and a sense of humor, you can make a film that will also be funny the second time around. It really is funny, it has a pretty good plot and emotional scenes, but most of all great humor, which is never awkward or stupid. (12.10.2017)

A decent Canadian-French action comedy with a very likeable central duo of cops trying to crack the case of an organized car theft ring. I haven't seen the first episode, but the second one supposedly doesn't follow up much, so it doesn't matter that much. The film is nicely shot, well acted, there's some smart humor and a few unexpected twists, and it's all well paced. An enjoyable, fun diversion as it should be. 75%. (08.01.2019)
