Nenne has the ambition to break through as a writer, but so far she makes a living in catering. Alex wants to be an actress, but now it looks like she is going to be taking care of her boyfriend who broke his leg. The series called the Scandinavian Girls, unlike the American model, focuses more on the problems that most of today's ambitious people in their twenties know than on the ridiculousness of its heroines. According to Siri Seljeseth, the screenwriter and the actress playing the main character, the series describes how the generation that no one calls with job offers tries to make it in the world.
