(ORF)

Englisch Firstly, we have to appreciate the mere fact that Goldie Hawn has made an appearance in this movie. Secondly, if you like Amy Schumer’s sense of humor, you’ll be laughing all the way through. It’s about her and about how disgusting she can be. If you’re not a chicken, you’ll manage. After all, why not. ()

Englisch I like Amy Schumer as a comedian. I enjoyed Trainwreck (2015), and I thought her next film would be just as good. Boy was I wrong. When it comes to comedies, I usually don't mind when the writing is simple as long as it’s balanced with a good portion of quality humor. This thing was too lame for me to watch and listen to, and I didn't get to laugh much at what it tried to pass off as jokes. Given that it’s a comedy, it’s a major problem. If it weren't for Barb and the experienced jungle guide, I'd probably be pretty bummed out. Those two minor characters provided the only memorable moments for me that could actually be called funny. / Lesson learned: Don’t ever piss off Barb. ()

Englisch It's a pity that films that pretend to be comedies can't bring out the basic thing - a smile on the viewer's face. Amy Schumer definitely has the potential to be funny, but here she doesn't showcase it; truth be told, she just stylizes herself into a character that suits her the most. She's basically a redneck. Goldie proves that she can handle comedy much better than her younger colleagues. ()
