Nacido en Siria

The award winning Hernán Zin follows the steps of the Syrian refugees to capture the urgent viewpoint of those experiencing the conflict from within and at first hand, as he did previously in his film Nacido en Gaza. Putting faces and names to the mass of people fleeing from the conflict in that country, Zin looks at stories of individuals marked by the tragedy, and who are looking for their place in a Europe that isn't as supportive as might be expected. Among the difficulties, odysseys and experiences of each person, a window opens to the hope of being able to regain a decent life, despite the wounds. (Seville European Film Festival)
