La habitación

The film shows in a metaphorical way Mexico's transformation throughout the last 100 years. It is all told by the residents who have occupied the same room in different times. Eight directors look from up close at the secret life of these characters in an emotional journey full of dreams, hopes, disappointments. A dirt-poor day labourer, Hilario, sneaks into the bedroom to murder his former employer, the opulent Alfredo. He fails. Three years later he gets another chance during the Mexican Revolution... And so on, until contemporary times and their victims. (Warsaw Film Festival)
