Fatimetu returns to the Tinduf, Algeria refugee camp for sarahauis to his mother’s burial after having lived in Spain for 16 years. There she meets her brother Jatri, whose wife Aichetu is pregnant and her disabled sister Hayat. While there, she finds out something that will change her life forever… her mother’s last will was to have her stay and take care of her sister Hayat. Wilaya is the story of two sisters who come together after spending 16 years separated by two different cultures who will have to adapt to survive and find their own identities.
