Amityville Terror is quite a step forward for me compared to the previous films. It’s a movie that didn't bother me at all and one where I was actually quite curious about how it would end. It's not a great horror masterpiece, but it's also not poorly executed work. The creators played with what they had, and in my opinion, they did alright. In the flood of haunted house movies, however, the film still gets forgotten.
