Footballer Wants a Wife

A parody, the series follows three young footballers as they embark on their modern-day journey to find true love. The series is the brainchild of ex-Neighbours star Ben Nicholas, who plays the role of delightfully vain 'football bachelor' Steven Papakonstantinou. It's a comedy that plays on the one ironic truth of at the heart of reality TV: it's completely fabricated - particularly when it comes to 'love, loss and celebrity'. (Tropfest)
