Angetrieben von Verzweilung und der Angst, nutzlos zu sein, bieten ein 20jähriger, sein Freund und ein ehemaliger Feuerwehrmann der Maia ihre Dienste an. Aber die Dinge sind nicht, wie sie auf den ersten Blick scheinen. Die Grenzen zwischen Wirklichkeit und Fiktion verschwimmen. Rupaszov lernt Zoli und Barba in einem Heim für Behinderte kennen. Da er im Rollstuhl nicht mehr als Feuerwehrmann arbeiten kann, arbeitet er für die Maia in Budapest als Auftragsmörder. Außerdem trauert er immer noch seiner einstigen Freundin hinterher, die bald heiraten wird. Als seine Aufträge immer waghalsiger werden, braucht er die Hilfe von Zoli und Barba – denn die bieten als Behinderte die beste Tarnung.. Damit legt er sich jedoch mit dem Maiaboss Radoš an. Und dann ist da noch Zolis Vater in Deutschland... (CARGO Records)

Hungary can surprise sometimes and I enjoyed this mix of genres from drama, comedy to action with people on wheelchairs. The film moves along nicely and never gets boring thanks to the original premise. Szabolcs Thuróczy's performance is perfect and he occasionally throws in some solid lines. As a bonus, there is a delightfully decent body-count. Enjoyable and memorable. Story****, Action***, Humor***, Violence**, Entertainment****, Music***, Visuals****, Atmosphere****, Suspense***. 7.5/10.

The Hungarians are, once again, uncompromising. They turn wheelchair users into assassins and on top of that they approach it as fun. Alright, I get it, it’s not that much of a comedy but, indeed, I was still in a better mood than when I watch some depressing Nordic movie. I like how the Hungarians in particular can be absurd when it comes to humor and here, they did it spot on. The final moment is just a pleasant diversion that made me think about what I actually just watched. But as a whole, the film works amazingly and it’s nice to see that even people with musculoskeletal disorders or those who need wheelchairs can make fun of themselves. I respect and appreciate the movie as a whole. Style-wise it’s similar to the Belgian Come As You Are.

As usual, Hungarian cinema didn’t disappoint. Thanks to the Hungarian filmmakers, I have more evidence of what I’ve known for a long time – us cripples are real badasses. I had no idea that some of my wheel-equipped colleagues might be able to achieve feats comparable to Tom Cruise's character in Mission: Impossible. From now on, I'll be careful about what I say when I hear the screeching tires of a wheelchair behind me in a sharp corner of the hospital corridor.
