Finally, I was able to rate an episode with the maximum number of stars. The romantic fluff was pushed to the sidelines so that the creators could fully focus on the Great Irish Famine. The duration didn't allow for the full severity of this tragedy to be shown, but the story was still very powerful, they did a great job with this.
