Die junge Mutter Joanna zieht gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann und ihrem kleinen Sohn in ein mysteriöses Apartment. Schnell wird ihr klar, dass es dort nicht mit rechten Dingen zugeht. Sie hört unheimliche Geräusche, Möbel stehen plötzlich an anderen Orten und es gibt ein mysteriöses Zimmer, dass sie eigentlich nicht betreten darf. True, John Ainslie has already made four crossover movies, although even he has shown that he cannot create something that stands out in any way with substance. On the contrary, he has shown that even though one can pile tropes on top of clichés, doing so will certainly not result in a very entertaining movie. The Canadian production The Sublet is an example of the exhaustion of horror and some of its moviemakers, which is surprising given their youth.
