Zu sehen und zu hören sind die Hauptmitglieder der Band David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz und Jerry Harrison zusammen mit Bernie Worrell, Alex Weir, Steve Scales, Lynn Mabry und Edna Holt. Der Live-Auftritt wurde im Laufe von drei Abenden im Pantages Theater in Hollywood im Dezember 1983 aufgenommen und enthält die denkwürdigsten Songs der Talking Heads. Für viele Kritiker:innen ist dies der beste Konzertfilm aller Zeiten. (polyfilm)

Talking Heads is definitely not the type of band that I listen to, which is due to the fact that I basically didn't know them at all. Some of their songs, yes, but not the band itself. However, the documentary is so well made that even though the music didn't really appeal to me, I enjoyed watching the musicians. Some of the plays of light and shadow were also great.
