Svindlerne

Like other young men, Jakob, Kristian and Casper, who are Danish, think mostly about girls and parties. They like sport and films. However, life has placed an obstacle in their way: they suffer from muscular dystrophy. Although strapped in wheelchairs and entirely dependent on others, they lack neither black humour nor a zest for life. This film captures their efforts to have longed-for intimacy, observes as they contemplate the meaning of life, the loss of a loved one, and when they are having fun, which not even their disability can prevent.
