It's the last day of business before Godfrey Global Inventory shuts down for good, and the enigmatic Mr. Godfrey and his officious sister Esther invite the company's downtrodden staff to a farewell party where they are to receive their final paycheques. A pretty decent movie. You'll watch it, might smile for a while, and lose interest in the second half, but in the end, you'll say you've seen it and it's alright. The next day, you probably won't remember what intrigued you about it, but that's okay because you'll just check it off your list, which I'm doing right now.
