Ash ist entschlossen, das Böse ein für alle Mal zu vernichten. Er macht sich mit Kettensäge, Schrotflinte und dem Necronomicon bewaffnet auf den Weg zur finsteren Hütte im Wald, in der vor 30 Jahren alles begonnen hatte. Amanda, die Ash zur Hütte begleitet, entdeckt die Tonbänder, die von dem Necronomicon berichten und erlebt die grausame Macht, die es in sich trägt.
