Indigo

A short film inspired by a chance meeting of director Mabel Cheung with a 12-year-old girl and her autistic brother, with the phenomenon of indigo children as incarnations of space creatures that may lead us to a happier future, and the nostalgic world of dance halls. The seemingly incoherent is all intertwined in a story of one evening in the life of a woman stuck in a romanticised past and her two children: a 12-year-old daughter and an autistic son as the carrier of possibly joyful future.
