Based on a true story. In 2002, during the frenzy of the World Cup in South Korea, patrol battleship Chamsuri 357 prepares for its usual duties. Koreans made a war blockbuster film that narrates tragic events of the recent past, specifically the year 2002. It is exactly what you would expect. Forcibly emotional, excessively dramatic, and honestly not as powerful as the creators would probably like it to be. Cinematically, Koreans are up to par, but sometimes they resemble American creators a bit too much.
