Nedotknutelné prostitutky: Příběh lidu Badi

In this documentary we travel to Western Nepal to uncover the living conditions of the Badi people, a Nepalese ethnic group that remains at the bottom of the Nepalese society. They face discrimination and social rejection every day. The historical, political and cultural circumstances made from more than half of the Badi women the main income source of the families. The Badi people are for generations trapped into a circle of poverty and prostitution. Mothers pass their profession on their daughters. The prostitution became their social norm. This documentary reveals not only problems that the Badi people face but also their successful actions and achievements. (Cena Pavla Kouteckého)
