A young, hipster entrepreneur (Nick Kroll) crashes and burns on the eve of his company's big launch. With his entire life in disarray, he leaves Manhattan to move in with his estranged pregnant sister (Rose Byrne), brother-in-law (Bobby Cannavale) and three year-old nephew in the suburbs — only to become their manny. It seems to me that I have seen too many similar movies lately and they are starting to blur together a bit. There is a quite good script here that focuses on a person and their problems, with the ultimate takeaway being that family is fundamental and the effort to keep it together. The performances are not bad, but as I said, it's starting to blur for me.
