(TV24)

Englisch What a pleasant surprise! Chris managed to pull off this simple yet near perfect film twice over. As a director, I think he handled it perfectly. And as an actor, he surprised me. These are exactly the kind of roles I'd like to see him play in the future. So natural, grinning, and in love. Alice Eve was also a divinely charming partner. Not to mention the spark between them. I have five-star feelings after watching it, so I just can't help it... ()

Englisch Less elaborate and coherent than 5 to 7, for instance, but more natural, sprawling and emotionally disjointed. That might be realistic, but there’s too much skipping at times with not much drive and some dead spots. Alice Eve's character isn't that engaging on the surface, but her development is interesting. Chris Evans, on the other hand, is very talented, but we’ve known that for a long time already. The ending is fantastic! If this was Evans’s debut as a director, we have a lot to look forward to, as he manages to mine the best of Linklater with ease and still adds his own invention and an interesting elemental feel. Englisch And it works, oh yes it does. Romance without pathos, without unnecessary oversensitivity, simply as you wish. Not superficial and beautiful. I must admit, it surprised me that Chris Evans directed this. It is clear that he has something in him and I hope he will engage in directing again sometime in the future. This was simply beautiful. It is unbelievable how naturally the film sounded. ()

Englisch A relaxed atmosphere, likeable central couple and a story where everything flows in a perfectly natural way. Chris Evans sure knows his stuff, which was a pleasant surprise concerning this was his first movie. I'm already looking forward to his next ones. I wouldn’t classify this movie as a standard independent film, but if indie movies looked like this, I would even start going to film festivals. ()
