Thomas Jakob is a rock star whose velvety voice, coarsened by a wild life, is loved by fans worldwide. Thomas writes beautiful songs about love that open the doors to women's bedrooms, but the door home to his family has been long closed. When he returns to his native Denmark to record a new album, he meets his daughter who is just going to rehab, and she leaves her teenage son in the care of Thomas who had no idea about his existence. Drugs, sex, and rock-and-roll suddenly change into a harsh clash with irredeemable mistakes of the past, but also a journey to understanding to those he loves in P.F. Christensen's Danish drama.
