Branko and his wife, Isa, used to be professors in their native Croatia. The impossibility of finding well-paid work pushes Branko to take a job as a truck driver. Whether he is behind the wheel, taking a shower, or cooking something quickly in a portable stove, he always misses his house and his family. Between cell-phone conversations with his wife, we discover the tensions and problems entailed by this new job which keeps him away from home for months. A film that simulates a documentary and captures the boredom experienced in the driver’s cab. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)
