Náš obvod před volbami

Just before the upcoming elections, Prague's fifth electoral district in the mid-1970s documents which important plans (in particular construction plans) it completed during the previous electoral period. From shopping centres to housing to two swimming pools, we see politicians' relationship to the movement known as Praguers for their City.
The relative nature of the word "modernisation" in a nutshell: the Smíchov market hall is the largest grocery market in Prague, and the prefab apartment blocks on the hilltops are supposed to show the "sensitive use of the terrain". (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
