Dicte Svendsen (Iben Hjejle) ist Reporterin für das „Tageblatt" im dänischen Aarhus. Ihre Themen sind die Kriminalfälle der Stadt. Doch Dicte schreibt nicht nur, sie ermittelt auch – aber auf eigene Faust. Furchtlos, emotional und mutig bringt Dicte sich immer wieder in gefährliche Situationen und den Chefermittler John Wagner (Lars Brygmann) in Rage. Ihre gemeinsame Arbeit führt allerdings zu einer Aufklärungsquote von 100 Prozent. Und so wird das Duo, wenn auch zunächst widerwillig, zum Dream Team. (ZDF)

The first season was slower to get going, and I had to get used to the main characters, but in the end, it was pretty good. The second season was much more watchable, and there were some humorous moments, so I had decent fun with it. Thanks to the upward development, I was looking forward to the third season, but after two episodes ending with the violent death of the policeman Vagner, whom Dicte had been pressing with her stubbornness in the fight against crime all along, the plot started to take a strange direction. Instead of criminal cases, exclusively personal problems of individual characters were addressed, which felt like one big tangled mess. If the creators had stuck to just two seasons, they would have done better.
