Das A cappella-Team der Bellas verliert nach einem blamablen Meisterschaftsauftritt fast alle Mitglieder. So nimmt die propere Teamführerin gezwungenermaßen eine Reihe von unpopulären und unangepassten Außenseiterinnen auf. Darunter auch die ausgeflippte Beca, die einige Ideen hat, um die Sachen auf Techno- und HipHop-Trab zu bringen. Doch Aubrey ist zunächst nicht umzustimmen. Mit kleinen Modernisierungen schaffen sie es dennoch bis ins Finale. Auf einen Sieg können sie jedoch nur mit einem Komplett-Makeover hoffen. (Verleiher-Text)
