Jacob (Anton Yelchin) kehrt in seine trostlose Heimatstadt zurück und stellt fest, dass sein kindhafter Bruder Buddy (Chris Marquette) für eine berüchtigte Gang arbeitet. Der skrupellose Boss dieser Gang (Vincent D'Onofrio) hat Buddys einfaches Gemüt dazu ausgenutzt, ihn zu einem gnadenlosen Killer zu machen. Jacob erkennt, dass er nur eine Chance hat, Buddy zu retten, wenn er die Gang von innen heraus zerschlägt. A drama that is currently being filmed a lot, and it is at a slow pace, but also a little in a cowboy style, although not overly. It's a shame that this movie tries to claim that it could be the successor to "The Godfather", but it doesn't have any significant prerequisites for that, from the screenplay through the direction to the actors in the expected roles.
