Die erfolgreiche, frisch vermählte Schauspielerin Sabrina zieht mit ihrer Nichte und deren Hündin Cassie zu ihrem Mann und dessen Sohn aufs Land. Dort trifft die verwöhnte Cassie auf den forschen Schäferhund Meatball. Zuerst können die beiden sich gar nicht gut riechen, aber als zwei Diebe - mit dabei Sabrinas erst kürzlich entlassener Assistent - versuchen, in das Haus einzubrechen, beginnen die zwei unterschiedlichen Hunde als Team zu arbeiten. At first glance, it's a bit cliché. A spoiled little girl makes her way into the wilderness, where she learns what life really looks like, although quite slowly and most of the time she's just annoying. Her male counterpart isn't much better off. But no worries, there are still talking animals here, specifically dogs. And on top of that, there are two crooks trying to be the new Harry and Marv. Not for nothing is the film sometimes also called "Home Alone Dogs". The problem is that it's forced, lacks humor, and it's painful to watch.
