Ein Stammesoberhaupt namens Xi (Nǃxau) findet in der Kalahari-Wüste eine Coca-Cola-Flasche – und hält sie für ein Zeichen der Götter. Wieder in seinem Dorf angekommen, versuchen die Bewohner das Geheimnis des merkwürdigen Dinges zu lüften. Jeder versucht, hinter den Sinn dieses göttlichen Geschenkes zu kommen.
