Continuation of a rather pleasant movie with Gerard Butler and Jodie Foster, except that neither of these actors returned. In the end, neither did the actress playing Nim, Abigail Breslin. The sequel is based on the same premise as the previous film, essentially about saving a paradise island. It's strongly ecological, pseudo-adventurous, unnecessarily digital, and unbelievably transparent without a single decent idea and actually without any nice shots. Simply nothing you wouldn't normally see on television.
