The Italians were supported by the Warner Bros. studio, which funded the movie. They also relied on a pretty decent and unobtrusive product placement. I usually don’t like it in movies, but here, I was willing to accept it. But, and this is a close call, they leaned into the coach with superpowers, Mr. Mourinho, which I found quite amusing. All in all, however, I cannot say that this comedy completely won me over. It was headed in the right direction, but all the jokes that the authors hurl at the viewer were downplayed so gallantly that the raucous humor was gone. Even though this movie could have been a lot more fun…
